Watch out for uneducated reviews on hybrids. |
Detailed review: |
This drove similar to my 2002 Prius. Same drive train, but AWD. If you need an AWD car and want efficiency this is certainly a good prospect. Consumers Reports wrongly reported it to be the same as the normal Escape when it comes to NTHSA rollover ratings. They lumped it in with the normal Escape. This has a lower center of gravity due to the battery pack in the rear. Unfortunately I did not know that and canceled my order for one. MISTAKE on my part. I would get one now though since I now know Consumers reports is not accurate. |
