This car is a rocket . I bought it in April '05 and have already racked up some 18,000 trouble-free miles , including some 100 mph giddy-yups in the fastlane on the freeways in Minnie . It loves the lousy weather to bits and I've never felt safer than I do in this Subie . The gas mileage is less than stellar , though I have to cop to being my own worst enemy there because the urge to boot it and feel the turbo spool up is almost pathological . I find that, with the 5 speed AT , if you put it in manumatic mode , much of the turbo lag is eliminated during expedited launches , though it's also plenty fast when the tranny does its own shifting too . Great car ! |
