Detailed review: |
Engine hesitates especially in hot weather and worse with AC on - hesitation can be up to 4 seconds - very dangerous when you are trying to pull into traffic and the damn thing won't move for 3 or 4 seconds. Now that it is cooler the hesitation is not as bad but still happens when the defroster is on, meaning that the AC on on. Subaru is supposedly working on a fix. Lots of rattles from dash, headliner and from the back. Transmission is unrefined, because it sometimes downshifts roughly when you are slowing down for a stop. Its newest trick is the throttle not closing when you take your foot off the gas. You can be going 40 or 60 for instance, take your foot off the gas and the car goes merrily along at the same speed, just as if you had the cruise control on. No word from the dealer as to what the problem may be. |
