First Drive: 2007 Saturn Vue Green Line Hybrid
The road to recovery is traveled on step at a time, and with the Saturn Vue Greenline, General Motors has reached an important milestone. The Vue Greenline is GM's first full hybrid vehicle, marrying a traditional four-cylinder gasoline engine with an electric motor and a battery pack for improved efficiency. The system is not quite as advanced as the offerings from Toyota or Honda, or for that matter, as advanced as the 2 mode hybrid you'll see from GM next year, but its an accomplishment none-the-less.
