Favorite feature: |
The sun-roof. The flat floor between the driver and passenger seats and the back seats. |
Least favorite feature: |
When parallel parking in tight spots, it's hard to determine how close you are to the car behind you. |
Advice to buyer: |
For towing, you might need a V6 such as with the Ford Escape. For 5-passengers, the CR-V is more comfortable than the Highlander. |
Detailed review: |
The new car test drive report by Tom Lankard is very accurate. We took our new CR-V on a mountain drive to Lake Tahoe. The automatic transmissions had no problems shifting into the correct gears, the 2.4 L has just the right power, the all-wheel drive engages in snow quickly and without problems, the tight turning circle is a major advantage for getting into parking spaces and making U-turns, and the interior is comfortable and roomy. We also measured 25 MPG on this trip. |
