Not a single option missing, even the ones I don't need.

I prefer this car to look a bit more beefy

 Advice to buyer:

Test drive all of your other choices. Factor in comfort, ride, wind noise and of corse, value.

 Detailed review:

I just got rid of my 1999 ML-320. I wanted another one. I like driving a German SUV, it's cool it's expensive, I like the status and it's well engineered, or so I thought! I went to test drive the new 2002 ML-320 model, it's the same crap. Very uncomfortable seats and leg room (I'm only 5'9' 160lbs.), terrible wind noise as though the windows are cracked. I'll wait until they start making these in Germany before I buy another one. I Want COOL so I went to test drive a BMW X5, right up my alley, I want German, expensive and this seemed like an appropriate 'guy's' kind of wheels. You can keep this one too. I don't mind paying big bucks for a set of wheels but I had an impossible time justifing the price of the BMW for the low quality it offers. The only thing worth almost 50 grand on this car is the look of the BMW logo. It's another made in the USA garbage truck. Too bad, I really like it's looks but not worth it. I'm running out of macho choices. My wife suggests the RX300, I said no way, it's a woman's car, I need to feel intimidating when I drive. If I tail gate someone while driving a RX300 they might laugh at me. Anyway, I went to test drive one to make my wife happy and so that I could get it overwith and eliminate it from my list. Test drive day; as I approached the car, it actually looks pretty good, not scary like I would prefer but pretty good. I test drove it and before I reached a few blocks I knew this was the car for me. The highway test drive locked the deal. Every option under the sun I wanted and needed and some I even don't need but still wanted. I now drive in serious comfort and my ass no longer hurts and my ears don't ring. This is a very smooth and extremely quit ride. This is a lot of car for the money. No American union workers touched this car as it's 100% made in Japan. I can't understand how some of these cars I think are garbage actually have a waiting list of people wanting to buy them. I want perfection in a car, my wife drives an E-430 and it's a perfectly engineered car made in Germany. So if you are considering a RX-300 go test drive the other cars first. I'm sure you will buy the RX-300 unless you put looking cool over being comfortable as I almost did again. As far as my statements about union workers, If I feel the product is worth the money then I will buy it. My company buys Ford trucks and they are very well made.
