I have owned two mercury sables since 1993 and they were great cars but the Toyota Prius has them beat bigtime. I bought this car for my wife and I am going to buy another Toyota when this one is paid for. The dealer tells me that Toyota is going to build a new plant for hybrid trucks down in Texas. I will be first in line for one! My wife and I bought this Prius before they were in the USA. Never even seen the car until the day we picked it up. Best decision we ever made. My wife, two daughters and I believe that every thing that can be done to walk lighter on our environment should be done and soon. Buying a car that is this light on the environment and still could be big enough to safely carry my wife and kids everywhere even on vacations was not possible until now. The bonuses for buying this car are its fun to drive, fast, responsive, cool and you get to write off $2000 when tax time hits. If you are going to buy one try to make sure you get the smart entry, as it is the best feature I have ever seen. Smart entry lets you walk up to the locked car with the keys in your pocket grab the door handle and enter the car, then you start the car with a press of a button. I want this feature for my house! Imagine never fumbling for keys, but still having the security of locked doors. If you can buy one for yourself you will have fun driving this ‘extreme’ car!!!!!
