Detailed review: |
I have had my base model Matrix for just over a month and am very pleased with it. It's not just for the young. We have two young children and the car has been comfortable for all during 7 hours on the road. Fully loaded (4 people, luggage, coolers, gear, etc.) and driving 75 nmiles per hour in hilly terrain, still managed 34 miles per gallon. Very hard to beat those numbers.
I wanted the cargo capacity and adaptability of a wagon for children and sports equipment without having to overpay, and I feel that I got a great value for my dollar. The standard engine is just fine for typical driving in traffic and merging into traffic is not a problem. Young families can definately enjoy the car, combined with the reputation of Toyota longevity, I feel that this car will sell well, no matter what trim level is chosen. |
