Detailed review: |
This car handles well under all conditions (dry, wet, snowy) with smooth braking and extremely good acceleration. The 'Brake' mode which regerates energy from braking back to the battery to recharge it is very usefull under snowy/slippery conditions as it provides a smooth and controlled slow down with out the locking of wheels and resulting skids that often occur in wet or winter driving. Unless you have a lead foot the acceleration is more than adequate to merge onto highways and get up to speed of traffic while maintaining excellent mpg. We bought the Prius the first year it was available so the only options we had were floor mats,CD player, and limited color choices. I believe that other options such as cruise control are now available, along with more color choices |
