Advice to buyer: |
Do not expect a cushy, luxury ride. This car is meant to be driven hard and well. |
Detailed review: |
I have owned an RSX-Type S for two years now and it has been a blast! The car loves to be tossed into curves, accelerates like a banshee out of them and can stop on a dime. Ride is a bit harsh due to stiff spring rates and shocks but considering how well it handles I do not consider this to be a problem. The car will easily handle speeds through turns that make me catch my breath, and I have been driving performance cars for a long time. The engine is very high reving, with the major power band occurring between 6,000 and 8,400 rpm. I have had no problems with the car except for clunky 2nd-3rd gear shifting which will be fixed by the dealer. |
