In Canada, there is an Elantra SE, which is loaded with features (everything but leather seats) and has the GLS ride. After owning a Tiburon GT, I was somewhat apprehensive of driving an Elantra. I'm still in the breaking in period and I'm quite pleased with the fuel efficiency. The ride tends to be a little softer than I would have liked, but it's easy to get used to the smooth handling. The driving feel is very good and I quite like the ABS in snow(the Elantra is great in the white stuff!), which is a sound feature given the cold canadian winters. The interior is very well appointed, and there is quality feel that surrounds you as you sit in the driver's seat. My kids love it, and it's much easier getting to the hockey practices than a Tiburon (although we miss Sharky!) All in all, the sunroof is great, the motor is excellent, and the extra features that you pay thousands more for other makes are superb. Great car! |
