Get an extended warranty and buy brand new or not at all |
Detailed review: |
Great Vehicle for the first 5000 miles, but the vehicle began to deteriorate rapidly in quality afterwards. The OEM tires, even after a rotation at 4k, were nearly bald. The 205/50 size makes tires hard to find, and the OEM ones from Mazda will set you back nearly $1,000. Most painstaking of all issues was at 7,500 when my transmission began to go. The car refused to shift into third gear, and is apparently a very common problem if searched via google. com. Make sure you get an extended warranty. Final problem is the car uses oil cartridges and not filters, which means no more DIY oil changes. |
