Detailed review: |
I was extremely impressed with the overall finished quality and well thought out ergonomics that were put into this vehicle. It seems to me that Honda has done an excellent and thorough job to ensure comfort, quality, reliability, and getting the most from there 244HP V6 Variable Cylinder Management engine; which is wonderful considering the increasing costs of gasoline. The transmission is so smooth between shifts, and the ride is smooth and very quiet compared to my 1996 Dodge Grand Caravan. I have just broken in this minivan (3,100 miles) and took a quick family trip to Florida and was getting on average 30 MPG on the highway, and 21-23 around town. That says allot when comparing this vehicles V6 gets better gas mileage than most of its competition using a 4 cylinder engine. The DVD system is a great asset for me and the wife to ensure some peace while we are driving with 3 boys in the van, and the cordless headsets make it even better when they want to watch a movie and we want to enjoy some music and good conversation. I dont regret spending the additional money to ensure a long-term reliable vehicle. No wonder its rated the best in its class several years running. Kudos to Honda for there continued efforts to ensure they are the front runner in Minivans! |
