Advice to buyer: |
Stay away from the 2002 Ford Explorer. |
Detailed review: |
We are having nothing but trouble with our 2002 Ford Explorer. We have had it in for transmission repair 4 times and the garage tells us that clunking is normal for this transmission. It clunks when you put it in park, when you put it in reverse and drive and when you come to stop at a stoplight. The problem started at 25,000 miles and we now have 29,000 miles and still have the same problem. The service engine soon light keeps coming on. |
