Two of my favorite things about this car are the panoramic visibility, and how open the interior is. I recently had to drive a chevy cavalier as a rental car and I thought I was going to die. After driving my xB for a few months, I can't even stand driving a mercedes. One thing I wouldn't recommend is getting the sports suspension if you have low-profile tires, as it doesn't take large bumps/potholes very well. It could also use about 30 extra horsepower, but I routinely blow past people at stoplights and take corners like no other. One thing I don't like is that the top of the windshield is low enough that sometimes I have to lean foward to be able to see a stoplight that I'm waiting for. This car also has a lot more leg room that you would expect, and when I moved across the country not long ago, I was able to pack far far more into it than you would have ever thought possible. In short, if you are in the market for a new car but don't particularly like the way the xB looks, take a step inside before you pass judgement. Everyone that I have given a ride to was amazed by it. |
