Advice to buyer: |
We have owned Toyotas for 30 years. Surely this is a fluke.. |
Detailed review: |
I have a new automatic 4/4, 2006 Martix , purchased in December, 2005. In the four months I have owned the car, four separate random times the gears have slipped from automatic to second gear while driving nearly 50 mph. Because the condition cannot be replicated, the dealership is not interested..in fact I think they think I am nuts! My fear is that it will happen on a freeway and cause a serious accident. Obviously the car slows suddenly with no brake lights. Does anyone have any advice? Has this happened to others? |
