Favorite feature: |
The AWD is definitely a plus. |
Least favorite feature: |
The manual locks and the fact that the Brighton does not come with a cover for the cargo area. |
Advice to buyer: |
Shop around and compare prices, but don't wait too long as they are sold quickly! |
Detailed review: |
The Subaru Brighton wagon is the least expensive of the line lacking the extras such as power windows and doors. It is also the only one of the line we could afford at this time. My husband works 45 minutes from home and must commute over a mountain. The AWD feature is what drew us to the Subaru in the first place as a way for him to drive a car, yet be able to make it back home should bad weather strike. Another plus is the extra room. We also own a 1997 Ford Contour which is the same length as the Legacy, but which has much less cargo and leg room. As the parents of a two-year-old, and all of the extra gear that entails, space is a necessity. Maybe this year's vacation we'll actually be able to take some luggage with us! |
