Within the first 6,000 miles this car was subject to 2 accidents - the first one was almost $3500 damage, the second one almost $7500. It seems that with this car, what would be a minor fender bender in another, takes away the majority of the front end! Also, the car insurance on this car is absolutely out of sight! I will NEVER purchase another one of these cars. It may have been economical to purchase, but it is definitely making up for those economics in the long run - in both of the car accidents, neither time did the air bags inflate. They claim it was not the right 'hit' - but with over $7500 worth of damage (car cost between $10,000 and $11,000) - what are they talking about? Our daughter was taken out of the car on a body board - but at least she is safe and sound! Am I nervous without a doubt! Plus, Hyundai told us NOT to have the car torn down after the accident since they wanted to look at it - it took them 33 days to get out there - they promised to pay for the car rental for that time - and NOW THEY WILL NOT! We do not trust them, and wish for others to be made aware of this! |
