Advice to buyer: |
Buy this if you want a cheap new car with the intention of throwing it away once it's paid, and do not want the hassel of a lease. |
Detailed review: |
It's a cheap, crap box car for all intents and purposes. There really isn't anything spectacular about it- the stereo sounds awful, the carpeting has no pile to it, the back of the front seats is plastic instead of upholstered, it's a dog going up hills, wimpy horn. It's a cheaply made car.
But as the saying goes, the devil is in the details. This car does have alot of details that it's higher end competitors have. CD player, map lights, sunglasses holder, cup holders galore, a HUGE trunk, the backs of the rear seats fold down for more trunk space, interior latch to open door for gas cap, power windows and locks, car alarm (as if anyone would want to steal it), keyless entry. It is comfortable as far as leg room, my 6'5' husband is comfortable sitting in it, and it gives him plenty of headroom, and he can actually adjust the head rests to the proper position. It does hold the road fairly well.
My biggest disappointment with it though, is the gas mileage. The sticker had a MPG of about 37 highway. When we drove out to Chicago from NH in it, at best, we got about 27 MPG. The MPG was one of our biggest determining factors in buying this. A car of this size, 27 MPG actual highway is unacceptable. No reason for it. |
