Detailed review: |
I purchased this 2005 GTP second hand with just over 25,000 miles. I am currently at 33,000 miles. I am experiencing problems that seem to relate to the electrical system. Some examples are: horn only works sometimes, the lights on the shifter do not work, the back window defroster will sometimes turn itself off and other times does not. I am also finding that the gear shifting is causing a lack of power at lower speeds which I think may be related to the torque converter lockup. It goes into tc lockup at the very time that I need to accelerate and seems to lug. I have to go ahead and kick it to make it come out of the tc lockup mode. I have had the car at the dealership and they tell me that they cannot find a problem unless it sets a computer code. There are no lights coming on in the dash to indicate a problem. I have been very dissatisfied with the dealership because I am getting very close to the end of my warranty. It seems that they do not want to find the problem until the warranty is out. I did not buy a supercharged vehicle to have a lack of power. When I first bought the car, it did not have this problem. It started and continues to get worse as I go. I am curious to know if anyone else is having these types of issues. I am located near Lynchburg, VA. If you have any of these problems, could you please post it? I will monitor this site. |
