Rent an Accent,yaris and fit for a month each and then pick,Accent won easy for me. |

I am amazed at some reviews being so negative. i drove an accent,yaris and fit each for a month both city and highway and accent was far the best. It had the best power and comfort for long drives and was not as noisy and had the best mpg equal to yaris and better than fit. In the city it handled much better and yaris had a bit better mpg. Overall it was cheaper and that coming with much more in the way of added features that would cost much more in the other 2. I bought the accent after the testing and after 6 months it is still wonderful to drive and no problems at all. My friend went with the yaris and after loaning my accent to him for a long weekend he now wishes he got an accent. he admitted it felt and handled better and had a lot more power. i will admit i have not driven in heavy snow yet but from past experience no sub compact is that great in bad snow. Overall between price and features and the actual driving i say the accent is hands down better than its competition. BTW,i previously had a corolla and although very happy with it have now found both toyota and honda to be overpriced for what you get other than reputation. oh yeah,when getting any work done at the dealerships hyundai is much friendlier and cheaper labour costs. I have no idea why some are complaining about mileage,mine is just fine and close to car specs. |
