Tires (or wheels and tires) can use more grip. Nothing 16 inch aftermarket can't cure |
Advice to buyer: |
It's a gem for the $. Equaly equiped RAV lists for 2K more. And it is smaller. |
Detailed review: |
I drive 1997 CR-V and bought 2004 model for a new driver in the family. The new 'tracklet' has much more pep then older model, although 1997 handles sportier (if term can be applied to those vehicles). It is a great comfortable vehicle. Excellent in inclement weather. Has plenty of pep and room for 4 (5 in sizes S to M). Sunroof and in-dash 6-CD stereo are great. Feels like much more expensive vehicle. A gem for financially challenged. |
