I absoultely loved my Jetta until I drove over a pothole and my airbags deployed. VW claims that the airbags performed like they were designed to and expects me to pay the $3500.00 to have them repaired. Mine is not an isolated incident, NHTSA reports that they have gotten 499 complaints about airbag deployment in Jettas without impact. Notice that a majority of the good reviews of the Jetta were posted shortly after the car was bought. Many of us who posted after we had our cars for a period time warn against buying a Jetta. I have less than 35,000 miles on my car and I have had all the servies, oil changes, etc. done but it no longer drives smoothly, it doesn't idols smoothly, there is alot of road and engine noise, and my leather seats are coming apart. I will NEVER buy another VW. |
