Advice to buyer: |
Save money by skipping the stylish Outback - the Legacy wagon is the exact car without the frills |
Detailed review: |
The Limited is the luxury trim line in the Outback with heated leather seats(winter package) two moon roofs, fog lights - the works! My wife and I both liked this car. The stylish Outback appealed aesthetically, while the AWD appealed to us getting through PA winters. The Limited has more room than the Forester which we found surprising.
The car handled exceptionally well, shifted and braked smoothly. I felt the engine performance was a little sluggish with 3 passengers going up hill.
The interior was reasonably designed. However, the front cup holders covered the radio and heating/ventilation controls when down. I was also un-impressed with the tilt wheel and lumbar support.
Overall, I liked the car, and will probably buy one even with the $27,000 list price. |
