Major engine failure at 48 miles! |
Advice to buyer: |
Ask the dealer to check tension of timing belt |
Detailed review: |
While I waited 2 months for my S60 to arrive, while driving it home from the dealer with 48 miles on my new car. The engine stalled as I rolled to the side of the road. After having the S60 towed back to the dealer, 16 days later and a new engine I now love my S60. The timing was not set properly from the factory and bent the valves. Volvo Fedexed an entire engine within 1 week, took the Volvo dealer another 2 weeks to install it and get me back on the road.
While my confidence and pride of owning my new Volvo was shattered at first, I now have had my new S60 for 1 week and I love it! |
