Detailed review: |
My 2005 Mazda3 is great. It looks good for a compact. Driving it is impressive. In the last 8 months I have put 14,000 miles on it and love every mile of it. The only inconvenience was the 17 sport wheels didn't grip the road on upstate New York snow, but that is inherent in tires intended to hold the road nicely at 100 mph, while not diminishing fuel efficiency. With the 2.3 litre / 5-speed I averaged 27 mpg; on an open highway trip, with cruise locked in at 68 mph I got 35 mph. Fun to drive, fun to own: a car that is cutting edge and economical. |
