I just recently bought a 2001 GLS Beetle...and i am in love...its true what they say, Drive=Love! It's a great buy for the price! I have noticed a lot of reviews that say that the beetle is poor quality and they have had a bad experience...i don't understand how you can break the glove box handle (how dumb can u be?!) or complain about the cupholders..because with all honesty, most cars of its size don't have 4 cupholders, and i understand that they are a little difficult to reach but how important is a CUPHOLDER?? I have noticed that do-it-yourself jobs are quite hard, but if your determined you can figure it out...i did. It has great power for such a light weight car and the look is outstanding, dont you agree?? I would definatley suggest the power sunroof (i LOVE it!) and a fun color, afterall, its a fun car! I have Techno Blue and its quite unique, i have not seen too many like it on the road. As for the quality, Volkswagen makes the beetle with cheaper parts for a cheaper price! Its just a delicate car that may not be as forgiving as a minivan. I went through the motions of looking at reviews when i bought my car a little while ago, and while the bad comments educated me, they were petty and had little to do with me purchasing the vehicle. If you like the ride, the look, and the features, dont worry about other peoples petty problems! |
