The 2003 S60 is a 4-door, 5-passenger family sedan, luxury sedan, or luxury sports sedan, available in 4 trims, ranging from the 2.4 to the T5. The 2003 S60's closest competitors include the Acura 3.2 TL, the Lexus GS 300, and the Volkswagen Passat. Upon introduction, the 2.4 is equipped with a standard 2.4-liter, I5, 168-horsepower engine that achieves 22-mpg in the city and 30-mpg on the highway. The T5 is equipped with a standard 2.3-liter, I5, 247-horsepower, turbo engine that achieves 21-mpg in the city and 27-mpg on the highway.
