"We bougth the Kia Rio because we were looking for a good gas mileage. My mother had a Sephia 98 and my brother as well they never had any problems with their cars at all. So that help me decide. I looks pretty and is very secure with the Full-Length Curtain Airbags. And it drives very nice too."

"We purchased the 2006 Rio5 with the convenience package (electric everything, minus the sports stuff). Oh, and heated seats.
The body feels well constructed. The doors close quiet and firm like an expensive car. Seats are comfortable and lots of room. I've driven german built cars all my life and due to budget limitations I went with Kia. However, other than the brand appeal and a bit of power, I feel like this is as good a car any mid-priced european car. Test drive it if you don't believe me.
The car drives well and is peppy. Sometimes leaves you wanting more power, but one really can't ask for more for this price."

"The Rio5 is a great 'need' car as opposed to a 'want' car. If you need a nice little car to get u around and don't have a big ego or family, then do yourself a favor and at least check it out. Its very roomy in the front seats, the backseats go down (flat) to give ample room for 'things' And one last thing the Rio5 has a tight feel to it, that makes it very responsive. Its just a nice little car for someone who wants a nice little car. It also comes with a lot of Kia Motors built in perks. It wont hurt you to take a look."

"I just purchased this vehicle over the weekend, put about 500 miles on it already. Looks great, city mpg was 27.5 not 29 as advertised. I am hoping it will be in the 30's on the highway, sticker states 38mpg but do not expect to see it. Overall a great car, gas mileage is good but not as good as advertised. Great warranty, the company must have alot of faith in their product to stand behind it the way they do."
