Pontiac G6 GXP Brief – 2007 Detroit Auto Show: GM’s performance brand is slated to offer two new sporty models for the 2008 model year, each pushing more than 250 horsepower and bolstered by some go-fast visual tweaks. One of the pair is the Pontiac G6 GXP, available this fall in coupe and sedan variants. Behind the redesigned fascia and below the scooped hood is a 3.6-liter V6 with variable valve timing that offers 252 horses. The G6 GXP also boasts new spoilers and wheels and a performance-tuned suspension outside, and aggressively-bolstered seats and racing gauges inside.
