2008 Porsche Cayenne First Drive
Driving: Handling

Sure-footed and confidence inspiring, the 2008 Porsche Cayenne is a deft handler despite its heavy curb weight and raised center of gravity. In fact, it's likely the best handling SUV I've ever driven. The steering firms up as speed increases, is quick to react and communicative about surface conditions. The optional PDCC virtually eliminates body roll, even when careening around one of southern Spain's numerous roundabouts, and helps keep the driver focused on the road and the Cayenne planted to it.
