How it Works: Hybrid Tax Breaks
2007 Saturn Vue Green Line

Credit: $650
Status: Are you kidding? GM just started selling the Vue Green Line. That paltry $650 credit will be around for awhile.
Pros: A less expensive hybrid with a sticker price of $22,995 and gas mileage that the EPA rates at 27/32, it’s a great alternative for those who want to pay less and are satisfied with getting less hybrid efficiency.
Cons: Perhaps it’s the ultimate compromise hybrid – for those who just don’t want to go all the way. Add to that handling issues and spotty interior materials, and the absence of an average fuel economy meter –strange for a hybrid vehicle.
