2007 Nissan Sentra

The 2007 Nissan Sentra’s interior passenger volume has increased 9.2 cubic feet, now measuring 97.7 cubic feet. Although Nissan has not yet released the numbers, it reports that front head, shoulder and hip room have increased as well as rear head, shoulder and knee room. The trunk has expanded 1.5 cubic feet to 13.1, and now features a vertical trunk divider that collapses when not in use. Carpeting and hooks on the divider wall match the trunk finish, and allow for easier transportation of shopping bags and other cargo. Storage is emphasized throughout the Sentra’s cabin, highlighted by an overhead CD holder, front seatback nets, a large locking glove box, and a multi-purpose center console. Finally, the 60/40-split rear seat folds flat and allows cargo to pass into the passenger cabin.

Safety features are plentiful, including dual-stage front airbags with occupant classification sensors, front side-impact airbags, and side-curtain airbags that protect outboard passengers in both rows. With competitors, such as Kia, loading up entry models with supplemental restraints, Nissan was wise to equip every Sentra with a full complement of safety features.
